The social distancing order on some localities, including Khanh Hoa Province, is extended until April 22 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said at an online meeting on April 15
Specifically, provinces and cities are categorized into 3 groups including high-risk, risk and low-risk based on such criteria as traffic hubs, circulation density, borders, contact with foreigners, population density, number of factories and industrial zones.
As many as 12 localities including Bac Ninh, Binh Thuan, Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, Lao Cai, Ninh Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Ninh, Ha Tinh and Tay Ninh continue following the Government’s Instruction No. 16 on social distancing until April 22 or even longer if the epidemic is not under control.
The high-risk group is required to follow strictly the social distancing order, however, keep paying attention to the manufacturing, infrastructure building, creating favorable conditions for goods transportation for people.
The group at risk, comprising Binh Duong, Can Tho, Thai Nguyen, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Dong Nai, Nghe An, Hai Phong, Kien Giang, Thua Thien Hue, Soc Trang, Lang Son, An Giang, Binh Phuoc and Dong Thap, needs to put in place roadmaps for the implementation of the Instruction 16 and strictly carries out the Instruction No. 15 against COVID-19 until April 22. The low-risk group, comprising the remaining 36 localities, is required to continue following the Prime Minister’s Instruction No.15.
